We are seeking a Top Secret Cleared Java Developer for a 9-month contract in Wellington. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing high-performance Java microservices within a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with microservices architecture, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and Kubernetes.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Current TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE is mandatory, candidates without a current clearance will not be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
- Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and GitLab.
- Solid understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
