The role would see you utilising your engineering technical knowledge and current experience within programme and project management of horizontal projects.
Reporting the Head of Delivery, your role will cover:
- Technical leadership across all phases of horizontal infrastructure projects from design through to delivery
- Planning and managing project programme, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring quality and compliance
- Being a key liaison for both internal and external stakeholders including NZTA, Iwi and local government authorities
- Preparing and presenting progress reports, status updates, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
- Leading budget and financial management and establishing any reporting systems and/or performance measures
- Leading risk management
Your background should include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience managing horizontal infrastructure projects, transportation projects preferred on the client side
- Strong understanding of planning, design, and construction phases of horizontal infrastructure
- Proven ability to effectively liaise with internal teams and external consultants
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
- Familiarity with relevant software tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, GIS).
Salary Package: Circa: $130K - $140K+
