I'm seeking a commercially savvy leasing professional to join a high-performing team responsible for delivering strategic property outcomes across a complex and evolving portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to influence leasing decisions that directly support long-term investment and operational sustainability.
The Role
As Commercial Leasing Manager, you’ll lead the management of leased premises across a diverse national portfolio. You’ll negotiate lease terms, manage renewals and exits, and ensure landlord relationships are proactively maintained. Your work will directly contribute to the organisation’s strategic property goals, ensuring leased assets are cost-effective, fit-for-purpose, and future-ready.
You’ll also play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on lease-related expenditure, and provide trusted advice to internal stakeholders and external partners.
What You’ll Bring
I’m looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in commercial leasing management within large or complex organisations
- Strong procurement, negotiation, and lease management skills
- A collaborative mindset and ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external stakeholders
- Sound understanding of property legislation and lease-related financial planning
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience in the public sector and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori engagement principles would be an advantage.
