This national project management firm has an excellent reputation in the construction market and is known for delivering high profile projects to both the public and private sectors. They are a top tier PM consultancy and represent clients on some of the largest and most complex capital investment projects across NZ.  There is now a requirement for a project manager with strong roading and/or water infrastructure build experience.

Key Responsibilities

•    Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, from initiation, design, planning, consenting, procurement, construction through to commissioning and handover.
•    Develop detailed project plans, scopes, and budgets in alignment with governance and funding models.
•    Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, providers, government stakeholders, and industry partners to ensure seamless integration.
•    Lead risk identification, assessment and ensure projects meet cost, quality, and timeliness parameters. 
•    Provide technical and commercial oversight of consultants, designers, and contractors to ensure compliance


Key Background

•    Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering/Construction Management 
•    Minimum 6+ years' experience in infrastructure planning and project management within large-scale infrastructure projects including roading and water. 
•    Demonstrated experience operating within complex infrastructure stakeholder environments.
•    Strong understanding of design, construction, and commissioning processes.
•    Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contractual obligations.
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.


Salary between $130K and $160K pending experience.
