Our client is seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join their Data Management Practice team and contribute to achieving strategic business objectives. In this role, you will support the Enterprise Business Capability (EBC) programme, focused on streamlining business processes and information with fit-for-purpose tools. What you will be doing:

• You’ll design, implement, and maintain robust data models aligned with business processes, collaborating closely with stakeholders, Data Architects, and Database Developers to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions.

An ideal applicant will have the following skills:

• Proven experience as a Data Modeler, Data Architect, Data Analyst, or Database Developer, with expertise in validating data models and ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and quality.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling principles (conceptual, logical, and physical) and proficiency in tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Excellent SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration techniques.
• Knowledge of data governance practices and data quality management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations and familiarity with the DBT ELT tool.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery). Snowflake experience is preferred.
