About the company:
My client is a successful commercial property company which manages a large portfolio of Auckland CBD based commercial properties with over 120 tenants. Now is the chance to join a fast-growing property services company as a Facilities Manager.

About the role:
You will be reporting to the Managing Director and managing a portfolio of 10 commercial office buildings. This is a management position so you will mainly be working in the fast-paced office based in central Auckland. In this role you will be in charge of all facilities contractors and will ensure they are managed appropriately in order to carry out contract obligations. You will be great with reporting and be able to hit the ground running with OPEX and budget performance reporting and provide insights and recommendations.

Duties:

• Managing contractors.
• Manage OPEX and budget.
• Provide monthly reports and updates to management.
• Tendering for maintenance contracts.
• Invoicing.
• Reconciliations.

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a Facilities Manager.
• Experience with OPEX and budget management & reporting.
• Experience with Xero a bonus.
• Natural ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage contractors, contracts, and negotiate.
• Your proactive, results focused nature will ensure you succeed in this role.
