Beyond is supporting a socially-focused government agency with the appointment of a Finance Business Partner to join a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team on an 8 month fixed term contract. This is very much a strategic and relationship-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with senior leaders to influence decision-making and drive financial performance.
You’ll be embedded within the Financial Performance group, acting as the key liaison between Finance and senior stakeholders within the agency and supporting organisations. Your role will span financial strategy, planning, reporting, and investment analysis. You’ll also support funding bids, contribute to internal governance, and help shape financial sustainability across a diverse portfolio of work.
This is a great opportunity to operate as a 'real' FBP and complex financial information into clear, actionable insights, build capability across the Ministry and contribute to continuous improvement in how performance is measured and communicated.

- Proven experience partnering with senior leaders at SLT, GM and DCE level, to support strategic decision-making
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to tailor advice to different audiences
- Commercial acumen and understanding of investment appraisal and financial risk

- Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment with ambiguity
