The Company:
This is a well-established design build main commercial contractor with many decades of local experience. They are sizable in staff and their projects can vary between new commercial builds such as industrial warehouses, apartments, major refurbishments, education, seismic strengthening, and mixed use commercial.
The Role:
This a slightly different role encompassing both quantity surveying and project managing small to medium commercial projects. This would include estimating for contracts, letting subcontracts and being responsible for the financial performance of the contract. Also programming and managing the programme of works. You would have a site manager on site that would report into you and update you on progress and any issues arising.
Your background:
As an applicant you will come from a strong quantity surveying background and have at least 6+ years’ experience worked on interiors commercial projects with appropriate quantity surveying qualifications. You have experience across the estimation and quantity surveying function. It is preferred you have an understanding of programming being conversant with MS Project as the role spans project management. You have great people skills and are well organized.
In Return:
Remuneration: $90K - $120K + fuel card
