About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic team in Auckland. This is a hands-on role focused on managing Azure environments, supporting BAU operations, and upskilling internal team members. You’ll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence while mentoring others in Azure best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Azure environments, including identity and access management.
- Handle BAU tasks and manage the ServiceNow ticket queue.
- Train and mentor an internal team member on Azure platform capabilities.
- Ensure timely resolution of tickets within defined SLAs, with detailed updates in ServiceNow.
- Escalate and prioritize critical incidents in line with the incident management policy.
- Provide insights and recommendations on Azure platform trends across subscriptions.
- Support configuration and management of MFA, Conditional Access Policies, and PIM.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Azure administration and identity access management.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Ability to train and mentor others in technical environments.
- Experience with MFA, Conditional Access, and PIM.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
