My client is in the market for an IFRS 16 specialist on an 18 month Fixed Term Contract to support the organisation on major leasing projects. Your role will be to examine current systems and processes, make recommended changes and implementing the established process. Part of your role will be to also review the current software, understand what the organisation is looking to achieve and subsequently provide recommendations to enable effective lease accounting.
The role will involve engaing with a number of entities within the organisation unerstanding their function and how they operate. This will require you to build relationships with key stakeholders, understnd their challenges and work clsely with them to achive an excellent outcome.
You will be qualified with CA/ CPA, have strong technical accounting skills particularly with Lease accounting and IFRS 16. Ideally you will have an audit background and may have come from Practice.
