About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Manual/Functional Tester to join a team implementing a new HRIS system within the Fintech/Insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual and functional testing across web and API layers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA
- Validate business rules related to NZ Payroll, Billing, and HR compliance
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility using tools like Browser Stack
- Maintain and manage test cases using X-ray or similar test management tools
- Proven experience as a Manual/Functional Tester in Fintech or Insurance domains
- Strong understanding of NZ Payroll, Billing systems, or HR legislation
- Proficiency in API testing and bug-tracking tools like JIRA
- Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and practices
- Experience with Browser Stack and X-ray is a plus
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for quality assurance
