As a newly created role, this National Sales Manager role will require solid sales leadership and commercial thinking. You will be a passionate people leader with a proven ability to coach, mentor and work alongside the national team, to drive high sales performance.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
Leadership through coaching and supporting a national sales team of territory managers and sales support staff. Building and maintaining strong internal and external sales success. Ensuring a sales culture centred on discipline and accountability.
Strategic Execution through contribution to the leadership team. Playing an active role in business strategy. Own and executing the national sales plan and identifying growth opportunities.
Commercial delivery though achieving national sales targets across volume, margin and market share. Lead and oversee pricing, tenders and proposals. Using data to manage risk and drive opportunity.
Sales Operations through improving sales process and workflow. Drive adoption of the CRM/ERP system and reporting tools. Explore and implement AI tools that enhance sales performance.
Relationships across the business from your SLT peers through to operations, finance, marketing and customer support whilst ensuring strong relationships with customers, partners and suppliers.
What will success look like:

Your background could be in packaging or another similar industrial B2B industry. You will require significant sales leadership experience.
You will be consistent and set clear goals. You are someone who likes to get out with the sales team, meeting customers on site to gain respect and trust.
