About the Role
Our client is working on a major digital transformation to better support their staff in the field. After two years of development, they are now entering a critical delivery phase — and are looking for an experienced Product Owner to help drive the next stage. This is a 6‑month initial contract with potential extension, and you will need to be in Wellington office 2 days per week.
As the Product Owner, you’ll lead a highly customised Dynamics 365 solution designed specifically for the operational needs of the business. The project is focused on enabling a new mobile solution so any experience in this area is a plus!
You’ll work closely with delivery teams, stakeholders, and technical specialists to ensure the solution continues to evolve in the right direction and delivers real value to frontline users.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning and prioritising the product backlog for a heavily customised D365 environment
- Working with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions
- Driving delivery outcomes across an established project that’s now hitting key milestones
- Providing clarity, direction, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle
- Product Owner experience across complex technical environments
- Dynamics 365 experience is ideal — but strong product ownership capability in any enterprise tech environment will be considered
- Proven ability to work within custom-built or highly tailored solutions
- Experience with mobile product delivery or field‑based workforce tools is highly advantageous
- Confident stakeholder engagement and ability to support a solution used in high-impact, regulatory environments
