About the role:
My client requires an experienced Programme Manager to manage a portion of a large-scale payroll system change. You will be required to manage a small team involved in testing configuration changes being made to the payroll system and testing remediation calculations. The role will involve liaising with internal teams to implement system changes and will also involve broader stakeholder management including: liaising with external vendors providing payroll services, liaising with assurance providers to complete all the assurance requirements for the project. Note: Fixed term – starting asap; until mid-Dec 2024. Location – Base can be anywhere, preferably in the North Island; remote working is possible; needs to be willing to travel on a regular basis; travel expenses will be paid. Hours – Full time. 

  • Identify and document process changes, decision documents.
  • Provide leadership & oversee the programme of work.
  • Develop and manage the overall budget and scope of the programme.
  • Ensure all stream leads are working to plan and delivering according to plan.
  • Manage stakeholders to ensure clear and transparent communication.
  • Liaising with external vendors providing payroll services.
Skills & Experience:
  • Programme Management of a large complex project.
  • Knowledge of enterprise payroll systems.
  • Proven track record of Programme delivery.
