About the Company:

This commercial constructor has a promising workload ahead of them and are now looking to onboard an additional QS.

They have a commercial build expansion programme underway working with a key developer client looking to press go.  The team is small, and you will be given the independence and autonomy to run the financials of the projects with the assistance of Senior QS.

Role:

A self-managing quantity surveyor role who will be involved in the following:

• Tendering and measurement and pricing of cost estimates
• Managing costs throughout construction in regular liaison with the project manager
• Preparing external claims and processing variations
• Subcontractor account management, contract administration, final account preparation, reporting and cost reconciliation

Preference will be given to those who have:

• At least 4- 5+ years experience working in a main contractor worked on a range of new build commercial projects with proven success in effectively managing costs and margins + tendering jobs
• Tertiary qualified in quantity surveying
• Broad experience in Contract Administration and Estimating functions, experience working with Developer clients would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivated
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors, consultants and client.

You will be ready for a move and motivated to make an impact. 

Remuneration: $110K - $130K pending experience.
