They now require a High End Intermediate QS or a Senior QS to work with the Project Manager and support the commercial aspects of a $29M refurbisment project based in the CBD. This would present as an exciting career opportunity for a QS looking for a challenging and complex build to be a part of.
As a QS you will be involved in post contract work including controlling all costs on projects, certifying subcontractors work, identifying variations, costing variation works, agreeing subcontractors final accounts and reporting to directors. There will be site visits involved.
As an applicant, you have:

6 + years of QS experience either with a main contractor or an interiors company with a strong understanding of contract administration

You have sufficient autonomy to run a job with interaction with a Project Manager

You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with suppliers, consultants, sub contractors and internal staff

Highly analytical

Able to priortise and manage various elements of a project
Salary $120K - $140K pending experience
