About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Remuneration and Insights Specialist to take ownership of our remuneration and benefits programmes, ensuring they are competitive, fair, and aligned with business goals and values.
Based in the central Wellington office, this permanent role will sit within the Human Resources team and reports to the CPO.
You’ll work at the intersection of data, strategy, and people – developing remuneration frameworks, conducting robust market analyses, and delivering clear, insightful reporting on key HR metrics. Your work will support executive decision-making and contribute to a culture that values Diversity, Empowerment, and Inclusion (DEI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development and implementation of remuneration strategy, including frameworks for benchmarking, pay equity, and job evaluation.
- Conduct market research and remuneration and benefits benchmarking.
- Analyse remuneration data and provide recommendations on salary, incentives, and bonuses.
- Reporting on remuneration, workforce analytics, and DEI metrics to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and governance requirements, including gender pay equity and ESG-related metrics.
- Lead the annual salary review process, integrating performance data and business priorities.
- Support the implementation of a new HRIS, with a focus on remuneration and analytics.
We would love to hear from intermediate-level candidates who bring proven experience in a remuneration, compensation, or HR analytics role. You will bring excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder engagement skills.
