•    $99,000 – 112,000 per annum base salary, plus Kiwi Saver
•    Performance and accountability reporting across a large public sector organisation
•    Supporting an empowering and engaging Manager, Performance and Risk

This is a fantastic opportunity shape an evolving organisational performance reporting function. 

As Senior Advisor, you will: 

•    Support the preparation of the Ministry’s Annual Report
•    Champion performance management and reporting through the Ministry, embedding best practice  
•    Your mahi will underpin the Strategy team’s coordinated performance framework

This is an important and highly visible role for the Ministry. We’d love to hear from established Senior Advisors with experience of planning, preparation, and writing of public sector accountability documentation – including Annual Reports. We’re specifically looking for public sector practitioners with deep understanding of machinery of government.

You’ll have the confidence to:

•    Proactively commission information/data from business groups across a large, diverse organisation
•    Develop trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
•    Analyse data to ensure it addresses requirements of the Annual Report
•    Support preparation and writing of the Report
