This design and build construction company are a respected mid-range construction company specializing in commercial projects across many categories. They have several projects underway in the $5M - $20M range and have won some good work of recent.
Due to internal reorganizational changes and as part of strengthening their brand, a new role is being created to support the regional manager who will be focussing on other areas of the business. As a result, they now need an aspiring Senior QS that can step into a management role and be part of a growing business going forward.
Key components of this role involve:
- Project Handover
- Letting of subcontracts
- Establishing and monitoring of budgets
- Processing and approval of invoices
- Project Health & Safety
- Variations, establishing, valuing and agreeing variations
- Progress claims
- Subcontractor payments
- Final Accounts
- Maintenance of systems
In order to be a success in this role, you are currently at either a high end intermediate or a Senior QS level with local experience of at least 8 - 10 years. You are degree qualified in quantity surveying. You are practical, are commercial, have an eye for detail, are adaptable and can confidently liaise across a range of stakeholders. This represents an outstanding opening for qualified QS that is keen to take the lead with a sound commercial construction company.
This role offers a completive market salary $120K - $140K.
