About the Company & Role

This role provides Level 1 technical support for customers in NZ and Australia as well as assists with internal technical issues. No two days will be the same as you will be answering incoming Service Desk phone calls, prioritizing tickets, providing technical support to resolve issues and supporting the escalation team where appropriate.

About You
You LIVE in and LOVE Northland!  You will be based in Whangarei and already have the legal right to work.   Customer experience is everything. You are a curious learner that is not afraid to give things a go, research and deliver on expectations. Your positive attitude and adaptable nature mean that you can work in a fast-paced environment with ease.

To be considered you must have:
  • 12 months experience providing 1st Level Technical Support, troubleshooting and problem resolution for external customers,
  • Microsoft operating systems experience, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and MS Office applications,
  • Experience delivering excellent services to contracted SLA targets, meeting and exceeding expectations and always meeting deadlines,
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills,
  • Troubleshooting experience and excellent problem-solving skills,
  • Accurately and timely updating of service tickets and recording time,
  • Being part of the on-call roster for after-hours support and maintenance.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science or other comparable qualification.
  • Ideally at least one major certification such as MSP, MCSE, CNE, VCP, CCEA or Cisco Certification or equivalent qualification
  • One or more Vendor qualifications

Essential: You must be in New Zealand with the legal right to work.
