I am currently recruiting exclusively for a Systems Accountant, for an Intermediate role based in a medium-sized team. This large public sector agency can offer a range of BAU and Project work in the TechOne FMIS space. The Systems Accountant position is a specialist role, where you will bring expert business understanding to work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties Include:
- Delivery of systems accounting services across implementation of new finance systems, as well as upgrades to exisiting FMIS
- Management of financial data integrity
- Finance system administration including; month/year end processes, ledger maintenance, project manintenance, budget and forecasting model maintenance
- Maintenance, development and implementation of automated process
- Knowledge and adherence to systems service delivery cycles methodology including planning, solution design, configuration and testing/deployment
- Development and maintenance of reports/queries
- User schedules assistance and user training on FMIS
Desired Experience:
- Preferably holding a Chartered Accountant/Associated Chartered Accountant status, ir a recognised equivalent
- Previous experience using TechOne FMIS in a Financial Systems environment (in the last 7 years)
- Previous experience in a similar role, at an Intermediate level within a public or private sector organisation
- Collaborative, agile and project focussed, with an ability to think outside of the square with solutions
