The Role
Reporting to the GM for NZ our client is looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer with the ability to drive sales growth and market share within the hydraulic connector industry across the South Island. Technical capability and previous experience in this sector or similar would be ideal.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to represent a market leader, developing new business and working with the customer base to seek out future work.
Key experience for this role will include:
- The ability to develop new business opportunities and growth within existing and new customers.
- Develop account plans for top customers and ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
- In your current role you may be working with the construction, marine, agri and/or equipment industry.
- Pricing, quoting and negotiation
- Proficient computer skills including Excel and analysis of data
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, engineers, and procurement across target organisations.
- Understand the technical capability of the products
- Product demos and presentations
- Exceptional pre- and post-sales support
- Qualifications including B2B/B2C sales within the hydraulics and technical engineering industry.
