The organisation and role:
Our client is a leader in the packaging sector and this role reports to the South Island Branch Manager.
In your role as Canterbury Territory Manager, you will be accountable for driving profitable sales growth through your ability to build robust, long-term customer relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will utilise your previous technical sales skills, have a commercial mindset and the ability to communicate across all levels.
About you:
With 3+ years previous packaging or similar manufacturing industry experience, you will hit the ground running and be a valuable addition to our clients tight knit, collaborative team.
In this role you will utilise your technical sales experience and work closely alongside the Branch Manager. You will be working in a very hands-on, supportive environment with a key focus on developing existing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Accountabilities:
- Call cycle management
- Collaborate with internal teams where required
- Develop and execute a Territory business plan
- Establish and maintain customer relationships
- Partnership approach, with customers at all levels
- Provide market intelligence
- Sales growth focus
