- Test Lead (Automation)
Work for an organisation that works collectively to make a meaningful difference for New Zealanders. As a Test Lead, you won’t have any direct reports, however you will provide leadership and coaching for the rest of the Testers and support the Testing Practice Manager. Working in this senior level role, you will own the Test sign-off process ensuring smooth delivery of all releases.
To be considered you must have:
- 5 years or more of automation testing experience with experience in key technologies such as Selenium, RestAssured API, Postman, K6, JMeter or similar
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Prior technical experience working within a product-driven software testing team,
- Experience working in a large- complex organisation,
- Worked on a wide range of technologies,
- Hands-on experience developing and delivering test scenarios,
- The ability to work flexibly, delivering change and support across multiple products and services.
- ITIL certifications
- Agile framework experience
- Experience working as part of a product development and support team, or similar role, within a product lifecycle including operational support of business-critical services, ideally within the public sector in NZ.
- A solid understanding of software development topics, including development languages, databases, methodologies, DevOps, build pipelines, automation, API’s, cloud concepts, as well as an understanding of other related areas such as UX design, product development, networking, security compliance, capacity management etc.
- Hands-on experience with all stages of the product life cycle and all aspects of operational support of business-critical services including Shared Services
