My client is a well know Auckland Not for Profit organisation with some very positive challenges coming up. They are a highly driven, values-based organisation, that operate in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Due to a recent resignation the client is looking for a strong financial accountant with excellent analytical skills to undertake a broad, commercially focused role managing the financial operations (40%) and supporting the Commercial Manager with insights (60%). With three direct reports to support the financial operations you will have the ability to motivate individuals and review their work.
Key activities in this role include:

• Overseeing the monthly management accounts
• Reviewing operational finance activities
• Preparation of annual financial statements
• Budget preparation
• Providing ad-hoc insights and analysis
• Analyse financial performance to support decision making.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience.

• CA Qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent working knowledge of systems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build internal relationships.
