Accounts Clerk – Permanent Full-Time Role
  • Mix of accounts receivable, back up accounts payable and administration tasks.
  • Role commencing on 7 January 2026
  • 40 hours per week
  • Salary: Up to $75,000 per annum + medical insurance
  • Masterton location with on-site car parking available
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join their finance team. This role is focused primarily on Accounts Receivable across their global operations including New Zealand, Australia, and the USA.  Your focus is to ensure timely collections are made along with maintaining financial accuracy. You’ll also provide backup support for Accounts Payable when needed.  This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a values-driven, multicultural team in a company that prioritises integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What the role involves:

Accounts Receivable
  • Manage global AR processes including reminders, follow-ups, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate customer records and process account applications
  • Prepare monthly AR reports and customer statements
Accounts Payable
  • Process domestic and international supplier invoices
  • Prepare payment batches and employee reimbursements
  • Reconcile vendor statements and credit card transactions
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage credit applications
Administration
  • Support month-end/year-end processes
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Contribute to process improvements and general admin duties
What we are looking for:
  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable with the ability to assist with Accounts Payable tasks
  • Strong communication skills – confident on the phone and in writing
  • Experience using Business Central or similar accounting systems
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working in a values-based, multicultural team environment
