Our client is a successful eCommerce business in a major growth phase, due to this growth they are looking for a Best in market Business Development Manager to join their team of high performers in Auckland.
- Proactively source, promote and sell products and services to all prospective customers by diagnosing business needs, presenting and recommending ideas and solutions that are innovative, and reflect business needs and requirements.
- Strategically grow key accounts and implement growth strategies
- Proactively support your wider team in identifying and converting new revenue and cross-selling opportunities
- Pay attention to market trends, opportunities, and competitor activity for products relevant to your portfolio.
- Review category results to ensure offerings are appealing to the market and leading the business towards growth.
- Build strong relationships with clients with the highest level of integrity in all your dealings
The ideal candidate:
Previous success in a fast-paced sales environment with proven growth and success.
- Advertising and/or media sales experience, is highly desirable.
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
- Tech-savvy and good at leveraging tools to make the boat go faster.
- Strong organisational skills, with a great sense of urgency.
- Great problem-solving skills – with a genuine desire to help.
- Customer service focus - ability to adapt to your audience.
- You will need a reliable vehicle.
There are two roles, one is primarily new business, one is new and existing business - both will require the same prerequisites listed above. As well as all the tools of the trade and a hybrid working environment, you will also have a monthly uncapped commission structure on top of your base salary so you can really earn your worth.
