We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist to deliver a focused, bespoke project supporting strategic workforce development planning in the disability support sector. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on long-term initiatives through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse current workforce data: skills, knowledge, demographics, turnover, and retention.
- Design and implement a baseline workforce survey targeting care and support workers to address data gaps.
- Explore methods to capture disabled people’s experiences with the workforce and identify capability strengths and gaps.
- Forecast future workforce needs: project demand, identify skills gaps, and assess sector trends.
- Conduct gap analysis comparing current workforce to future requirements.
- Identify and recommend data sources to monitor progress on workforce development initiatives.
- Proven experience in data analysis and workforce planning.
- Strong ability to design and deliver surveys and interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on a time-sensitive, outcome-focused project.
