I am currently recruiting exclusively for an experienced Finance and Payroll Business Partner. The selected candidate will join a team of hard-working finance professionals, to take responsibility for timely completiom of reconciliations, tax compliance, financial statements and analysis of monthly results and related reporting. This role will also involve monthly billing, contractor and supplier payments, as well as Payroll and HR Administration.
Duties Include:
- Staff Payroll, including commission and bonus calculations, monthly salaried payroll processing
- Staff leave management, answering pay related queries, maintenance of accurate headcount schedules
- HR Administration; setting up new employee files and keeping data updated
- Preparation of Payroll journals, maintenance of the payroll system, accurate document preparation
- Back-up for processing of alternate Payrolls, undertaking weekly checking and quality assurance
- HR Administration, including reporting, maintenance of workbooks, assist with onboarding
- Monthly invoicing processes, assist with billing, clear the timesheets inbox
- Reporting and maintenance of Payroll systems, including revenue and contractor payments
- Cash flow and Bank Account Administration, including maintaining APs and DDs
The Ideal Person Will Have:
- 6+ years experience in all areas of financial accounting, with strong experience managing workflows in a team environment
- High level of attention to detail/accuracy, ability to review reports with context and initiative
- Comprehensive knowledge of Finance systems, with the ability to administer and report
- Excellent knowledge of NZ Payroll and HR legislation, with the ability to apply this to BAU situations
