My client is a well-known technology company that operates internationally. They are currently looking for a financial accountant for 6 months on a Fixed Term Contract. In this role you will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting the organisations accounting function, month end, year end and statutory reporting.
About the role
- Prepare monthly profit and loss, as well as balance sheet reports - ensuring these are compliant with IFRS standards
- Assist with accounts reconciliation and variance analysis
- Overview of proper coding of all accounting transactions including selection of appropriate divisions, business units and cost centers
- Management of intercompany accounts including appropriate cost recharges and monthly reconciliations
- Management of the Fixed Assets Register
- Completion of statutory returns, including GST, FBT, PAYE, & RWT
- Assistance with adhoc reporting, analysis and research related to finance and business operations
About You
- Experience performing similar role
- Intermediate-Advanced excel
- Experience with local compliance filing (International compliance an advantage)
- Advantage will be experience with NetSuite
