Senior Health & Safety Contractor required for a goverment maritime regulator.
The Marine Pollution Response Unit is focussed on marine emergency responses for such events as ship groundings, container spills and oil spills to name a few.
A senior level contractor is required to build the emergency response manual to detail processes for Health & Safety responders.
This will include detailing induction processes, audit requirements, safe systems of work, SOP's, risk management, hazards management and emergency management and coordination of processes across Port Operations, Civil defence, Ambulance Services.
You would work with subject matter experts.
This would suit a Health & Safety specialist with strong understanding of legislation and may have had experience in marine/shipping sector, oil and gas or high risk industries - but not essential. Will have had experience writing manuals and processes.
