HR Advisor – Organisational Change
Location: Central Wellington

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (office-based, with some flexibility)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support organisational change initiatives within this public sector organisation. This role is pivotal in providing specialist HR advice and hands-on support for job design, consultation processes, and transition activities.
You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of change, including preparing and amending position descriptions (PDs), conducting job sizing, and supporting compliance with HR frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and processes during organisational change.
- Support job design and consultation processes.
- Prepare, review, and amend position descriptions (PDs).
- Conduct PD comparisons and job sizing activities.
- Assist with transition planning and implementation.
- Liaise with managers and staff to ensure smooth change processes.
- Respond to HR-related inquiries promptly and professionally.
Skills & Experience
- Proven HR advisory experience, ideally in organisational change and job design.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
