Our client has a new permanent opportunity for an Applications, Digital & Development Manager to help contribute to and support strategies, plans and projects. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of the organisation’s data, information and ICT tools and infrastructure to enable the organisation to meet its goals and to operate effectively and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will also have strong leadership, interpersonal skills , stakeholder /vendor engagement and will help provide strategic, operational and workplace culture leadership within the business.
What you’ll need to succeed:

Work in collaboration with key stakeholders to develop longer-term business planning and other operational plans that support and enable business strategies

Oversee the development, implementation, testing, business application upgrades and to contribute to the Business Applications Roadmap
-
Maintain dialogue with application development and technology stakeholders across the system. Collaboratively with the Information Directorate Management team, evaluate, prioritise, and plan the directorate work programme required to move from current to future state

Promote effective communication between own team and colleagues in other teams across the the organisation to ensure that activities are well coordinated and any issues with cross organisational impact are effectively resolved and managed

Understand risk management and how that relates to statutory, regulatory, business continuity, financial and HR policies/procedures
