I am currently recruiting for an Operational Risk and Remediation Manager, to lead six direct reports focussed on Remediation and Risk, in the Insurance space. Lead and mentor, provide input and expertise to help execute the risk management accountabilities within the business.

Other Duties Include:

  • Support best practice risk management and drive appropriate change to ensure the balance between risk and reward is maintained
  • Contribute to the timely and effective management of customer remediation events
  • Create documents and reports as required for a variety of audiences that clearly articulate key facts and insights
  • Build and maintain relationships with the wider business to deliver value for the insurance business and to its customers
  • Support and facilitate a culture of risk awareness, ownership and control
  • Ensure changes to risk processes and policies are implemented, identifying the causes of loss/risk

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Financial Services - in insurance AND/OR risk management
  • Sound understanding of operational risk management, compliance and/or regulation
  • Previous experience managing teams (preferred) OR looking for a step up into a leadership role
