We’re looking for a Partnership Relationship Manager to join a value-based public insurance provider.

As the Partnership Relationship Manager, you will be accountable for the integrity and delivery of quality contractual and partnership outcomes by building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with suppliers. You will work closely with key enabling functions such as Procurement and Assurance teams, as well as external partners to ensure partners and suppliers are delivering on expectations and commitments and will embed strong relationship management practices in all partner interactions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining effective commercial relationships with partners and suppliers
  • Ensuring relationship and contractual milestones are set and achieved in all allocated external partnerships
  • Building a strong relationship with the procurement team, providing the relationship guidance and meeting facilitation support to ensure a smooth procurement process during contract review and sourcing interactions
  • Leading the development and implementation contract management plans for the organisation’s key suppliers and partners and ensure delivery against the key commitments
  • Providing accurate, relevant and appropriate information to partners regarding organisational policies and procedures that may inform good customer outcomes
  • Effectively managing high risk/value supplier and partner panels and contracts at an expert level
  • Monitoring and managing partner performance against contractual obligations, including service levels and key performance indicators

You will bring to this role:

  • Previous experience in high value, high risk contract management roles within medium to large organisations
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of end‐to‐end claims management and the operational aspects of claims management
  • Appropriate experience in causal analytics and evaluation and the ability to report both verbally and in writing
  • Sound decision‐making that demonstrates collaboration, emotional intelligence, and logical reasoning
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and to work well within an ambiguous and quickly changing environment
  • Strong commercial acumen
