An excellent opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Manager  to collaborate with leaders to develop and embed core values and principles of behaviour, and manage day to day operational requirements.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer you will have input to strategy , have the support of an HR Advisor and be responsible for the following:

  • Provide informed, professional and consistent HR support and advice and seek to add tangible value by focussing effort and time on activities that will develop manager capability, confidence and practice.
  • Build processes and people strategy, and implement
  • Undertake workforce planning, people strategy, organisational development, employee performance, and contribution to business strategy and planning.
  • Lead and enhance the learning and development function designing career pathways.
  • Lead the implementation of a program to continuously improve employee engagement.
  • Lead the recruiting function
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to design and deliver change management programs.
  • Manage key vendor relationships
  • Participate as a member of the leadership team delivering value

About You:

  • At least five years’ experience in human resources preferably at as a senior generalist HR practitioner working in a complex organisation
  • Significant experience interpreting Awards and strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act and other employment related legislation.
  • Proven success in working side by side with colleagues across the organisation to develop and implement HR projects that help improve the culture and workplace
  • Considerable experience working in a unionised environment, able to demonstrate the ability to develop successful relationships with Union representatives
  • Experience in supporting the development and successful delivery and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
