This is a boutique sized PQS firm who are looking for an Intermediate/Senior or Senior QS that will work with a Director and fit into their current team of passionate professionals. They are flatter structured, work reasonable hours and they are proud of the diversity of their client base.  Due to the boutique nature of the firm, there is ample opportunity to fast track and get wide exposure and experience and take a lead in client relationships.

Technically the role will involve leading end to end client engagements, feasibility studies, measuring, estimating, tender preparation and evaluations, contract administration, payment claim, and variation claim evaluation, final accounts, participating in expert witness for disputes, litigation support, team mentoring, project management of construction projects.

For the truly ambitious, an opportunity for equity is realistic with the current Director looking to share some of their responsibilities in the business.

The key background preferred is

• BQS (preferred), DipQS or NZCQS qualification
• A minimum of 5 years experience PQS experience in a NZ, UK or similar firm
• Be a motivated and proactive individual that can present well in front of clients as well as self-audit their own abilities to ensure tasks are complete.
• Experienced in either Cubit, CostX, Buildsoft, QS2000 or Everest
• Ambition and desire to progress in this firm.
