We are looking for a Reporting Analyst for a 6-month contract position based in Wellington. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.

As the Reporting Analyst you will be working in a transformation project team, where our client is replacing their legacy HRIS and payroll systems with Workday and an integrated payroll platform. As such there will be a big shift in reporting capabilities, transitioning from legacy SSRS/Cognos reports to a new suite of reports built on Workday, the new payroll system, and the Modern Data Platform (Snowflake Data Warehouse and PowerBI).

You will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting data to generate valuable insights for the business and translating reporting requirements into actionable user stories for the development team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and deliver reports that support evidence-based decision making.

What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Reporting Analyst
  • Experience in gathering requirements
  • User story development
  • Gap analysis experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Experience with Workday reporting, Cognos or similar HRIS platforms
  • Experience working with data, data warehousing concepts and reporting tools (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Agile working environment experience
