Our client provides a one-stop-shop for hydraulic services and is proudly known for the broad range of industries they support, think agriculture to forestry or transport to manufacturing, and so much more.
With a sales & design team, in-house welding and machining departments, a mobile hose service and a first-class service and repair facility, customers can relax in the knowledge that their every need will be met.

About the role
The Sales Manager role is critical in terms of leading the sales team to achieve success, raising the bar in terms of promoting all service offerings, and growing the company brand.
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the sales strategy.
The Sales Manager will foster and maintain positive relationships both externally and internally.

Key areas of responsibility
  • You will lead and support a sales team to exceed targets and be the best they can be
  • You will build a positive and progressive team culture promoting individual growth and recognising team success
  • You will be a change leader and take your team on a journey of challenging the norm where there are no bad ideas and making continuous improvements is the new norm
  • You will manage key accounts, identify and develop new business opportunities, and grow supplier relationships
  • You will increase market share and profitability while identifying new product development areas and markets
  • You will have overall responsibility for and the management of inventory levels
  • You will work within your financial restraints and controls to optimise resources and performance – you will drive budget success, contribute to the business plan and provide accurate forecasting
  • You will drive policies around pricing, freight, conditions of sale, advertising, service and promotion
Who are you?
You are an experienced sales manager within the hydraulics industry and you want to align yourself with a market leader.
You lead from the front and have a history of building high performing teams.
You form meaningful business relationships easily and are focused on long term partnerships as against short term wins.
You are known for your highly effective communication skills including the ability to influence, actively listen, and articulate key messaging.
You are commercially savvy with superior negotiation skills and the EQ to read the room.
You are a self-starter, a big picture thinker but still great on the detail, and enthusiastic.
You are career driven and are going places.
