My client is a large complexed government department that is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant. This is not your standard BAU transactional role. You will be CA qualified and have a good understanding of IFRS and excellent writing skills. You will use your expertise to provide financial support and information to enable the organisation to make efficient and multi-year decisions.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the external baseline update and appropriation processes
- Identifying and analyse financial risks
- Mentoring and coaching to contribute to the development of individuals building their capability and technical expertise
- Applying knowledge of current trends and practices to improve service offerings
