This is a well-established commercial construction company with a strong reputation for delivering projects on time and on budget with an outstanding commitment to client service delivery. They are gaining traction in the NZ market and have plans to capitalise on opportunities by leveraging key NZ clients. Much of their work is retail, including supermarkets, industrial/warehousing and major retail food brands and service stations. They have enough a significant pipeline of work.
They have a $30M supermarket job that now requires the skill of a motivated and commercially orientated project manager to deliver.
Within this role you will be reporting to the NZ Manager. Your overall responsibility is to manage the project being responsible for overall performance.

The Candidate:
- A tertiary qualification relevant to construction, project management or quantity surveying and/or a trade qualification
- Previous experience in a Project Manager role with a NZ contractor working on commercial builds
- Due to the nature of the client’s projects, high end retail experience is preferred
- High level of planning and organisational skills
- Track record of liaising closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Demonstrated excellent team working skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record working as part of a large team in busy live environments
- Have a good understanding of construction processes and project parameters
- An ability to interact with key stake holders and represent this contractor in a highly professional manner
In return for your efforts, you will be rewarded with a salary of between $150K - $170K + veh
