A leading IT service provider is looking for a skilled Senior Security Engineer to join their team based in Palmerston North and they’re offering up to $110,000 per annum to the right person.
The Senior Security Engineer will provide operational support of Customer Systems and network Infrastructure as well as contribute to best practises while exceeding the business and customer expectations. This role is very customer centric.
Working as part of a team, you will have:
- 3+ years of relevant Security Experience
- Experience working with both internal and external clients
- Scripting to automate and integrate the execution of tasks
- Virtualisation, shared storage and related systems
- Security Software knowledge including Endpoint AV, SIEM, Firewalls and WAFS
- Administration and installation of Microsoft/Linux server OS’s and applications (such as Exchange and SQL)
- Excellent communications skills
- Security Certifications (CISSP, CISM etc) and IT Certifications (ITIL, VMware, A+/N+/S+/Cloud+ etc) would be good
