About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join a dynamic team delivering complex technology solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership across multiple environments and product stacks, ensuring smooth delivery and release management in a multi-agency context.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across complex environments, including digital channels, software applications, integration and data layers, and platform/cloud infrastructure.
- Manage environments and coordinate release schedules, ensuring readiness across multiple teams and vendors.
- Oversee release management activities, supporting change and release processes and presenting where required.
- Identify and mitigate risks across multiple streams of work, providing clear decision-making and structure.
- Work with teams to decouple releases and enable more frequent delivery of value.
- Collaborate with technical leadership to improve release pipelines and uplift technology and processes.
- Support additional technical activities as agreed with leadership.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead in complex, multi-agency or enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of technology product stacks and release management practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage dependencies and maintain alignment across multiple teams.
- NZ Citizen or NZ Permanent Resident (eligible to obtain NZ Security Clearance).
