Digital Platform Architect

Our client is looking for Digital Platform Architects to assist in building an ecosystem of Digital Experience Platforms. This is an hourly rate contract role till 31 July 2026.
You will be an architect with experience across a range of platforms and Cloud technologies. Each platform is envisioned to be a microenterprise that manages and governs itself while aligning to the overarching strategy and vision of the wider organisation.
This initiative is to work with the enterprise architecture team and domain architecture within each platform. Contributing to the development and refinement of each platform’s architecture, helping to inform digital investment choices for the organisation.

You will be expected to do the following:

• Assess the current digital ecosystem and identify gaps in functionality or areas lacking clarity.
• Work with stakeholders to understand customer needs and digital experience requirements.
• Work with the architecture team to develop Digital Experience Platforms architecture that are aligned to organisational digital strategy.
• Help develop the integration strategy with Product leadership.
• Draft high level investment briefs and roadmaps.
• Contribute to the use of methodologies and tools, including the creation and refinement of models.

Please note that for this role it is essential that you have lived in NZ for the past 5 years and are a NZ Permanent Resident or Citizen. This role is Wellington based, and it is expected that the successful candidate will work from the office 3 days a week.
