We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our client on a 12-month contract. 

About the Role 
As a highly capable Senior Business Analyst, you will partner with both business and technology teams to deliver high-quality analysis and ensure decisions are informed, structured, and well-documented. A key focus of this position is producing decision papers—gathering inputs, analysing options, assessing impacts, and presenting clear recommendations aligned with organisational objectives.

You will also work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, identify opportunities for process improvements, and ensure that proposed solutions align with business priorities and regulatory standards. Your ability to translate complex needs into clear, actionable insights will support successful project delivery and contribute meaningful value to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Facilitate the development of decision papers, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Conduct options analysis, risk and impact assessments, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Elicit, document, and manage requirements across business and technology teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build consensus and influence outcomes.
  Support projects delivered in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in business analysis, including requirements management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles, with experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and present recommendations effectively.
• Proven capability in options analysis, risk assessment, and aligning recommendations to strategic objectives.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  Ability to independently tackle complex problems while supporting broader team goals.
• Hands-on experience supporting projects related to compliance and risk management.
• Deep experience in the banking sector is essential; wholesale banking and payments experience is advantageous.
