Our Government client is seeking a talented Communications and Engagement Advisor to be an influential voice across their internal and external engagement channels and partners.
This role has a strong media element to it, but primarily is responsible for telling the organisation’s story through strategic communications. You will be a trusted advisor as part of the leadership team and day to day you can expect to be across the following:
- Providing strategic communications and engagement advice to the Leadership Team.
- Acting as conduit between the Regional and National Team on Communications and Engagement activities, to ensure all activities are well aligned.
- Developing opportunities for positive proactive stories for internal and external channels, including digital channels.
- Helping to extend the reach of of national marketing campaigns, including through region specific communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Establishing and managing strong working relationships with communications and engagement teams at other Government agencies and across Local Government.
- Provide strategic communications and media management, including providing media training, guidance and strategic support to Leadership Team.
- Developing positive networks to identify opportunities for positive stories for internal and external channels.
The ideal candidate will possess:
You may have 2-3 Years in a Communications Advisory role within Central or Local Government OR you could come from a similar comms environment in enterprise or the Not-For-Profit space.
