Opportunity to join a community services organisation in the Not for Profit health space.

6 month Fixed term contract. Competitive salary , 2 days work from home and use of a vehicle.

The role is responsible for working collaboratively with Lifestyle Coaches  to supervise vocational programmes that will enable people with disabilities to develop skills to increase meaningful community engagement , social connections, more independence and job placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Development Support
• Review processes and develop a vocational support plan
• Effectively manage, lead, guide and support the Lifestyle Coaches for high quality service delivery
• Liaise with vocational service providers and external agencies
• Liaise with key health stakeholders to ensure objectives are being met
• Operational management of the vocational programs  managing resources
• Reporting
• Build a collaborative/cohesive team culture

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• A diploma or degree level qualification in human services, health or management is desirable but not essential
• Proven experience as a people leader
• Experienced in working with people with high and complex needs
• Commitment to tikanga Maori and some conversational knowledge of Te Reo is desirable
• Understanding of the disability/health sector desirable

We are looking for those with community spirit and those who have worked in community services, who have been in leadership roles and are able to step into an interim role.
