About the Role:
The Head of Finance and Operations with be responsible for two direct reports, one finance support and the Logistics Manager, with several indirect reports in the logistics team. Your role will be to deliver strong financial leadership to this growing business, along with refining and enhancing the logistics operation. This role reports into the Directors and will provide financial and commercial support at an executive level whilst partnering with the leadership team to provide information and insights.
About you:
To be successful in this role, it is essential you have a strong understanding of company finances, can take a commercial view of a business, and highlight areas for improvement and development.
Ideally you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Financial Management experience
- Strong Analytical ability
- High level Commercial and financial acumen
- Excellent leadership skills
- A strong understanding of distribution and logistics
You will hold a formal Accounting qualification, CA, CIMA, ACCA, etc. You will be a confident leader with a passion for business and engaging with those around you to drive commercial outcomes. You should be entrepreneurial by nature and look for the opportunity in every situation.
