Manager – Digital Workplace & Networks

Are you a strategic technology leader with a passion for delivering seamless, user-focused digital services? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where your leadership drives tangible impact? We’re looking for a Manager – Digital Workplace & Networks to lead the delivery and evolution of end-user compute, network, and server infrastructure services.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wellington, reporting to the Manager of Workplace Technology and Platforms.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll lead three core technology teams (currently 3 direct reports, growing to 5) and oversee multiple managed service providers across:

  • End User Compute
  • Networks
  • Server Infrastructure

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the strategic direction and delivery of workplace and edge technologies.
  • Managing supplier relationships and ensuring performance against commercial agreements.
  • Developing product roadmaps and business cases to support investment decisions.
  • Leading project teams to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Managing team backlogs and facilitating quarterly planning sessions.
  • Leading incident response and participating in an on-call roster.

  • Proven leadership experience in digital infrastructure or workplace technology.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in business case development and programme delivery.
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead through change and deliver results in complex environments.
  • Financial acumen and a strategic mindset.
