$90K - $100K (FTE) depending on experience

About the role:

Live and work on the sunny North Shore. My client is looking for a motivated and skilled Senior BAS Accountant with strong NZ Tax knowledge and experience. A competitive salary, great working environment, flexible hours (20 to 30 hours), and excellent training are on offer.

Duties:

• Preparing annual financial statements & compliance.
• Producing GST, FBT, Income Tax returns.
• Preparing client advisory documents.
• Producing business valuations.
• Analysing accounts and offering meaningful advice to clients.
• Preparation of management reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Providing systems advice.

Skills & experience:

• CA Qualified.
• 5+ years accounting experience with a NZ CA firm.
• 5+ years of NZ Tax filing experience. 
• Ability to visit and consult with clients.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to extract information from various IT systems.
• High standard of work, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Be able to hit the ground running.
• Strong Excel, Word, and report writing skills.
